KYLE AND I ARE GOING TO HAVE A BABY!!!!!!!
Here is the baby's first picture! (You cannot see it really well because it is on x-ray paper and that does not scan well, but he/she is there)
I will be 10 weeks tomorrow. We have already told our parents and some close friends. Now that we know the baby looks good we are going to shout it from the mountain tops.
We told my parents first:
I don't have any pics from telling them but their reaction was great! I had e-mailed mom earlier that week just saying that we really missed them and wanted to come and visit. Mom was all for it and so we went to Houston. Kyle and I had ordered t-shirts that said Daddy 09 and Mommy 09 and we wore them on the way to Houston. So, when Kyle and I got there mom and dad meet us at the door. I had to point out what the t-shirt said and they got it right away. They were so excited to be grandparents again!!!! Oh, and I told my sister and my new brother-in-law and they were so excited!
Then the next weekend we told Kyle's family:
I do have pictures of this. So Kyle and I made this sign and placed it in the bottom of a box along with those Texas Tech booties, wrapped the present and gave it to Kyle's mom to open!:
It took Kyle's mom a while to figure out what the sign was meaning. I think she thought that we were talking about our newest addition to the family Ella. But she finally got to the bottom of the sign and this was her reaction:
Totally priceless!!!!
It was so fun telling the whole family and now I am so excited to be sharing our AMAZING news with all of you. Kyle and I are so blessed and are so excited about our new adventure that God is taking us on!
I am due September 4th, 2009. I have been feeling ok, from about week 6-9 I was continuously nauseated but now I seem to be feeling better. Just tired and SUPER hungry
Please pray for our little baby, that it will develop normally and that this pregnancy will be healthy along with the labor and delivery (I know that is a while away but it doesn't hurt praying now right?)
