Hunter Reed Jones

Finally I get to post about our little one! Our computer crashed the day we got home so I have not been able to post, upload pictures etc.. Kyle, Hunter and I all went to Best Buy yesterday and bought a new computer. Yes, I took my 1 1/2 week old baby to Best Buy. We both were going stir crazy in the house and needed to get out.

The story of Labor:

Kyle and I got to the hospital at 6:00am for the induction. We promptly got to our room and waited for the nurse to get there. I got my IV, epidural, and pitocin was started all by 8:00. I progressed well throughout the day and started pushing around 5:30. I pushed for an hour and my Dr. came in and said that I am not making much progress and he wanted to try to get Hunter out with forceps. He thought my pelvis was too small for him. So off we went to the operating room (just in case the forceps did not work). Well the forceps did not do the job, so they had to do a c-section. I had a feeling all a long that I would need a c-section anyway. I just wanted Hunter here happy and healthy.

So after a long hard day of labor Hunter Reed Jones was born at 8:06pm, weighing in at 7lb 5oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. He has dark hair and a lot of it! I think he is the cutest baby I have ever seen. Of course I am his mom!

On our way home- Hunter did not enjoy the ride home at all. He cried half the way home. Which made both daddy and mommy stressed!
