4 Months

Hunter turned 4 months old December 27th. We went to the Dr. yesterday for his well child exam. Here are his stats:

Weight: 16 pounds 5 ounces (75 percentile)-He is wearing 6-9 month clothes and size 3 diapers!

Height: 25.3 inches (70th percentile)

Head Circumference: 17.3 inches (90th percentile)-Baby has a big head. That's OK, just means that he has a big brain!

Hunter has been rolling over (tummy to back) since he turned three months old. But, now he is much better at it. Makes tummy time entertaining for me and frustrating for him. I love to watch him roll over. He thinks so hard and then when he does it I say yea!!! and he squeals. He is so proud of himself. He laughs at pretty much anything. He has the cutest laugh. I am trying to get it on video. But, every time I get it out he stops performing. He still smiles with his whole body. We love him so much. I think this is my favorite age. He is communicating now. The last few nights Hunter has been singing himself to sleep. He says oooohhh, oooooo, ahhhh it is so cute. I love it, Kyle and I just laugh. This week we have been starting all naps in his crib. That does not meant that he sleeps his entire nap up there but we have to start some where. He is getting better. My goal is to have Hunter in his crib at night by 5 months old. We will see how it goes. He loves to stand up on your lap. We got a little jumper thing that you can put in the door frame. I got that out a few days ago and he has not figured out the jumping thing. He just goes around in circles. He thinks that is hilarious. It is so much fun to watch him grow.

He has changed so much here is a picture of when he was first born:

This is actually at two weeks. Not even at his birth weight yet. He looks so scrawny! Now he is my chunk a monk:

Funny huh!
