My First Sewing Project

My Grandmother (Gran) used to sew a lot. She made some of my sister and I's dresses and doll clothes. I decided I would like to learn how to. I bought a sewing machine off of Craig's List a couple weeks ago and have been deciding on what would be an easy project for me to do. So, I decided to lengthen the upstairs game room curtains.

It is kinda hard to see. I wanted to choose some cheap fabric and this is the best thing I could find. It blends in with the wall. I fell in love with fabric that was 30 dollars a yard but decided against it. I can always change it later. I am pleased with the way it turned out.
