My crazy family thought it would be a good idea to ride out the storm. So they hunkered down and experienced Hurricane Ike in all its fury. Mom said that the storm was massive and she will never ride out a storm like that again. They are doing great, no injuries just some damage to their fence and no electricity. My sister's family also rode out the storm and they are doing okay, they had lots of damage because some trees fell down in their yard. They also do not have electricity. Thank God for the cold front or else they would be miserable! My brother's school is cancelled for the next few days so he is all smiles. It was so hot in my parents house last night that my mother actually slept out side.
Unfortunately the hurricane went right through where Casee is supposed to be getting married in two weeks. I know that the place where we were supposed to have the rehearsal dinner is under water right now. We were all supposed to be staying at the same hotel and it is also flooded. So please pray that either everything will be cleaned up in two weeks or God finds another way for them to exchange their vows next weekend. Surprisingly she is not worried about anything and just wants to get married! So yea for that!

I am glad your family is ok,but I could help but laugh thinking that your mom wanted to sleep outside! Glad everyone is safe and sound.
