On Sunday Pastor Sam encouraged everyone to spend more time with the Lord. Here lately, well actually for a while, I have not been spending quality time in prayer, mediation or really anything. I am not sure why, just have been lacking desire to get to know the word more etc.. So anyway, I decided that I was going to get up early everyday this week and start my day out right. And anybody that knows me knows that I LOVE to sleep. So this is extremely difficult for me. I am pleased to say that with His help I have been getting up at 6:30 everyday since Monday morning and doing a quiet time. It has been great, I can totally feel a difference in the way I act towards people and the way I feel about myself. Some girls from my Sunday School and I are going to a Wednesday night bible study and we are studying Mocha on the Mount. It is a study about Jesus' sermon on the mount. That is what I have been studying in the mornings. I really like it so far.
So pray for me that I will continue doing this and furthering my love and devotion for Jesus!

So often an author never gets to put a face on readers. What a joy to stumble onto your blog and find you're going through "Mocha." I'm saying a prayer for you that God will speak to you as you make some sacrifices to follow Him.
I am so proud of you for getting up with Gods word! I have been feeling convicted to do the same but really didnt last that long with it. I need to get back on board! Good luck with sticking with it and I think it is great!
