I am tired of looking into the mirror and hating what I see. I am tired of having super cute clothes that I cannot wear. I am tired of feeling disappointed every time I look at the scale. I am tired of not feeling energized and healthy.
Yes, I know I just had a baby but enough is enough. I gained 40 pounds when I was pregnant. Yes, 40 pounds! That is a lot, I know. I was never so hungry in my life. Breastfeeding has helped some, I think. I have lost 33 pounds and still have 6 pounds to go to get to pre-pregnancy. However before I got pregnant I was gaining my weight back from when I lost 22 pounds before. So my ultimate goal is to be back at 120 pounds by my friends wedding at the end of May!
So, I am going to post on this blog my status. It will be called "WEIGHT LOSS WEDNESDAY" I need some type of accountability. I know that some of my closest friends read this blog and they will encourage me. Kyle has been amazing and he said that when I meet my goal I get a 250 DOLLAR SHOPPING SPREE!!!! He is my biggest supporter and always has been. He knows that nothing motivates me more than being able to go shopping for clothes!
I just want to feel better about myself! To the right is a weight loss ticker. I hope that it will continue to go down to the cash register goal!!!

Hey. I know the weight thing is hard... do you remember when you went shopping with me for the Caymans? I couldn't find ANYTHING. Carson was only 3 months old. I totally know how you feel. It WILL come off, I promise. The first one is easier than the 2nd... I'm still working on that and Carson will be 2 in 2 months!! AAAHHH!!! You can do it!
Love the motivating money!!! What a great idea. I need to lose some weight as well. Perhaps I'll drop the hint to Jeff that this would be JUST THE THING to make me get my rear back on the treadmill.
Can't wait to watch your ticker move across the screen!!! Will pray for your discipline in the process. :)
Oh -- and Hunter's dimples are adorable!!!! Too bad they're not so cute at our age, huh?
Much love,
Stacie
I love how honest this post is... soooo relatable.
I put on 40 lbs every time as well. That's one of the reasons I was so distraught when I got pregnant with Jack. Sarah was 4 mos old and I had 5 lbs to go (just like you) and then I found out I'd be putting it all right back on. So you and Kyle be careful. :)
I used my brother's wedding as motivation to lose the weight after I had Jack. I think it really helps to have a reason to work out. But, just so you know, you already look good.
