Blog Award

One of my best friends from Parkway Hills, Julie, gave me the Master Blog Award. This means that I need to share 6 things that I am a Master at. And I'll name 6 people to share their master skills (if they want to play along)...

1) Procrastination:
I am a VERY good procrastinator. One time in college we had a huge project due and I waited until the night before to start it. I was up for about 24 hours finishing it and then turning it in. But I am a good procrastinator...I got an A. I think it is the thrill/stress of wondering if I am going to be able to complete it or not. I always do!

2) COUPONS:
Since I have been staying home with Hunter, Kyle put us on a budget! At the beginning I was not sure if I was going to be able to survive not going to Target and spending needless money on things that we do not need. But, come to find out it is not that bad. I have actually become a very good shopper. Sometimes we get the Sunday paper and they have GREAT coupons there. I go to Coupons.com and they have GREAT coupons there. We shop at Market Street! Mostly because they send out their weekly mailer with two free coupons and they have great deals. I also LOVE Market street because 1) they bag your groceries and 2) THEY TAKE THEM TO YOUR CAR!. It is the little things that make life so much better. Oh and another thing is they have new mom/expecting mom parking spaces CLOSE to the door. I don't care that my son is almost 7 months old. He is heavy and the closer I can get to the door the better! Anyway, enough about how AWESOME Market Street is. I have a goal when I go shopping...All groceries under 100.00. I make my goal all of the time.

3) Fast Cleaning:
Now we all know I am not a good house keeper. I have never been a "tidy" person. I leave my clothes on the floor when I take them off. Mostly because I am lazy and don't want to pick them up. I leave all of my dishes from the day on the coffee table or upstairs in the game room until Kyle is almost home and then I clean them. I am the MASTER of fast cleaning. I can get the whole house "Jennie Clean" in about 15 minutes. If I have a surprise visitor it does not take me long to pick up.

4) Master of Science in Nursing:
I even have a diploma that says I am!

5) Multitasking:
I can feed Hunter, talk on the phone and eat my meal all at the same time. I am even better in the car. I am trying to get Hunter to take more bottles during the day because when I am working that is all he will be able to take. So, today in the car he was getting fussy and so I gave him a bottle. He has not mastered holding the bottle yet..he does it just not high enough to get he milk to the nipple. So I held the bottle, changed the radio station, drove and answered the phone. So, not safe at all! I need to take that Oprah challenge and not talk on the phone or text. But being in the car is so boring!

6) Making Hunter Laugh:
I can make this kid laugh at anything. He loves to laugh, play peek a boo, roll the ball, anything makes him laugh. I love it!
