Kisha's Baby Shower

One of my really good friends, Kisha , is having a little girl in about 4 weeks. Several of us girls from Sunday school threw her a shower on Saturday last week. She got a ton of cute things. Makes me want to slap a bow and a dress on Hunter. I think his Daddy would be severely upset if I did that. I wanted to post the decorations that I used on my blog because they were so stinking cute.

I got this idea from my sister in law Joy. She did these tissue pom poms at Ella's first birthday. I thought they would be so cute for a baby shower. I love the way they turned out.

This is not a really good picture of this but I bought card board letters from Hobby Lobby and hot glued the on to card stock. Then I hot glued hot pink feathers on to the back with a ribbon and tied them to our mantel. I did not steal this idea from anyone. Just my one moment of creativity!

My dad made this cake. It turned out AMAZING. It was the talk of the shower. I was supposed to put the shoes on top of the cake but it just looked so cute with out the shoes that I decided that I did not want to cover up the cake. The cake was so moist and oh so yummy. Oh, and I made the diaper cake in the back too!

The shower was so fun. Kisha got a ton of super cute things for Morgan. It is such a blessing to have friends like her and Josh. They would do anything for anyone. They have helped us out so much in the past few years. I cannot wait to watch our babies grow up together.
